I am a new sahm with a newborn who just turned 8 weeks last Friday, it has been a new challenge staying at home.

Congrats on your newborn!  It IS a challenge, but hopefully there are bright spots in your day...like naptime, or when your baby gives you a sweet smile.  It does get easier and more exciting when they get a little older and start interacting more :)
