Hello all.

My name is Melissa Schartman and I am local photographer --mainly of the fine art category, who is looking to branch out into portraiture.

I am looking for experience and I understand that parents are always in need of great photographs of their children at any age, but aren't always willing to foot the bill for expensive studio work or want something more than the cliche poses and packages the studios offer.

I believe the best shots are candid shots, without a flash disorienting the little ones. Photography in their world is preferred. 

I am thinking 2 hour sessions, if needed, no limit on shots or wardrobe or places. This would include a CD of full res shots sent to you to print and as you wish, it will also be used in my portfolio. I will not sell photos of your children. They will be sent to you in a timely manner, you'd have them for the beginning of the holiday season --which is coming up in the next few months.
