Pancake belly
so how long does it take for the stretched out skin on your belly to start shrinking down? It's been almost 4 months and still have a really disgusting looking belly. It reminds me of a flabby pancake. Is there anything i can do to make it firm up quicker?

I've used St. Ives Collagen Elastin lotion for a few months and have noticed a difference. My daughter is 11 months and it's only been the last month or so that it's gotten better. Be patient and it will get better.

Hey Amanda!
Have you tried crunches? There are so many ab excersises out there. You can check out a few on shape.com. Click on "Find a workout", and then head toward "abs".
Good luck!

I had twin girls 10 wks ago. I've done a few things to to get my belly back into shape. I chose to breastfeed to help with shrinking my stomach and I joined Weight Watchers 5 wks ago. Weight Watchers has helped me the most. The past 5 wks I've been doing at least 10 min of activity a week (walk, squats, crunches, and/or low hand weights for arm exercises). I'm now trying to increase it to 2-3 times a week, and I'm trying to incorporate more core exercises. So far I've lost 15 lbs since birth of babies, about 15 more to go for pre-pregnancy weight. During my pregnancy I used Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lotion for stretch marks religiously, now I use it when I remember to. My belly is not a pancake, but it's not big, loose, or flabby. Hope this helps.
