What happening here?

About 2 weeks ago my daughter went down for a nap like any other day.  She is about 32 months old.  She sometimes naps, or plays and then I go get her.  So we put her down for bed, samt routine, same time and she began to scream boddy murder, nothing she has ever done before, so we waited a while and it kept going and going, so we checked on her, thinking maybe somethng happened or she's sick, it went on for 2 hours.  Then the next night samething ect.  Now everyime we go to bed be it nap or bed, we scream.  Now, we know there is nothing wrong so for about 2-3 weeks now and we son't go in there at all, let her cry and the she falls a sleep.  Now, recently, we are getting up screaming, and screaming bloody murder for the bath.  It is very fustrating and alarming she is doing this out of the blue.  Nothing has changed at all. no baby, no move, nothing!  Any one gone thought this at this age, please help:) Its like she's a crying bratie kid now and it was like over night...

That is very strange!  I don't have an answer for you though.  In my family we always say, as soon as you've got the kid all figured out she changes!  So, maybe its just a change in her.  She doesn't have an ear infection does she?

You may want to call your pediatrician and tell them about it. It might ease your mind to have a professional guide you through this phase, or to rule out anything physical.

I can tell you that my 3 1/2 year old has finally entered his "terrible" phase. Here we were thinking that our little angel would never be the tantrum throwing type, but sure enough, almost overnight, he changed into just that! It has been a tough time learning how to deal with it, because he used to be so easy going!

I realize your daughter is displaying something totally different, but my point is similar to Amanda's. Talk to your doc, and hang in there!
