I have a friend who made me feel better about anything I ever did as a parent. This lady was really well dressed, she was head of some parent's association with good standing in the community, so when she told me this I felt so much better. Also, she is about two feet shorter than her son, so I can imagine how hard it was for her to discipline him, plus he was a pretty devious kid. Anyway, she told me that she got so angry one time that when he was walking away from her (not listening to her, of course,) she threw a rock at him! Fortunately it didn't hurt him. And I felt like nobody's perfect. |
