how old is he? my son is 2 1/2 and he does the same....not all the time, but he gets angry and frustrated easily for any little thing....and he won't listen when we try to explain that things are not so bad....or why he can't have something. i have been realizing also that he doesn't like when other kids try to come near him or touch him.

i want to put him in pre school care, but i'm scared he won't do well.

i hope that since you first posted this you have found ways to help your son. what i would like to say is that he seems to be a child that is picking up the feelings of others. all sensitive children have a hard time seperating out their feelings from those of others. since it is the "mission" of indigos to break down what is not working in society and help rebuild it they can see things in a negative way since they know that there is a better way of doing things.

further indigos/ senitives tend to be more sensitive to chemicals and food. so i would suggest that you experiment with taking him off of wheat and gluten. when i did this for myself i felt much better.  make sure that he gets into nature and that he drinks plenty of water to flush out the toxins he is collecting.

as for how to get him to stop throwing things and tantrums, do not try to explain things. LISTEN!!! these children have  a ton to say, so LISTEN!!!! give him hugs and kisses, let the emotions pass it will do more good in the long run. i tell my daughter ( she is 6) to count to 5 then take a deep breath. i will have her do this until she is calmer.  any child can learn to take deep breaths as a way to calm down.
