i would love to find

cheap books and keep them, but I live in a one bedroom apt with no room absolutly. therefore, I must use the local library

Another option for  you would be paperbackswap.com (if you join, say you were referred by littleacorn) so you could still keep the books as long as you like and then trade them when you want to make more room for more books.

 

Or, you might be able to increase your storage space by putting up shelves something like http://www.instructables.com/id/Hungarian-Shelves/ maybe having it only going partway down the wall or, like my husband and I did, modify it to include other furniture.  In our case, we made a computer desk out of a lower shelf, incorporated a shelf in there for a television, and made it go only part way down the wall on one side to fit a dresser under it!  I think we tripled our storage space by doing this!  Since we are a family of 6 living in 2 bedrooms of a double-wide trailer, space is at a premium here too!

paperbackswap.com is great!  I have been using that site for over a year now and it is a really great way to trade books.  Definitely take a look.
