things to do in Philly

I am looking for some summer activities to do locally with my 2 year old son. We are already signed up for a music class. I am looking for some day trips or activities. Anyone have any suggestions?

Which music class? I would love to get my daughter involved with something like that. We are going to sign her up for swim lessons again this summer; we did it last year at the YMCA and she loved it!

The Please Touch Museum is $15 per person. We just took Emily there for the first time and she had a blast. A free option is Smith's Playhouse. We have been there 2 times and Emily enjoyed herself.

If you are looking to do something on a regular basis, there is a playgroup that meets in my neighborhood 3 times a week (Mon/Thurs morning from 10-11:30pm and Tuesday from 6:30-8pm). Message me for more details if it is of interest to you...

My daughter would love to have a buddy close in age, so if you ever want to meet up at a local playground, just let me know.
