Hi Jamie~ I have the same problem~I just ordered Proactive on their website after seeing a commercial about it and it is clearing my skin up immediately. It is not harsh at all and doesn't dry out my skin like most acne products. It costs 39.00$ plus 5.95$ shipping every 2 months and they ship it to you every 2 months. You can cancel at any time. My skin hasn't looked better! If your interested go on their website and the ingredients are listed and it was created by dermatologists. Good luck! |

I've had a minor acne problem since I was a teenager and a few years ago I tried Proactiv. It worked, but caused dry patches and I got tired of spending so much for it. Have you seen a dermatologist? Maybe it's eczema. If you're looking for a natural remedy check out http://www.healthy-skin-guide.com/Best-Acne-Cures.html It may also be your diet or your hormones out of whack. I recently started using Olay's Clarify and Cleanse and really like it. |

I totally understand, hormones going crazy. Mine was the same way, I actually found a wonderful company that has great facial products and a very inexpensive acne line and is ALL natural! Which to me things that are put in our products makes me kind of worried, if you know what I mean. E-mail me and I would love to talk to you in a more personal setting. Have a great day and talk to you soon!

You need to try products by a company called Melaluca. Melaluca makes cleaning, body, make-up and other products. All of their products are made with natural ingredients ( especially melaluca oil). Any ways I have the same problem. My son is 2 1/2 and my acne after he was born never stoped and it was much worse than when I was a teenager. Melaluca makes a product called zap it and their make-up line is Nicole Miller. It really worked, I was amazed and it didn't mess up my skin like most normal products. If you have any questions my email on raising them. Melaluca.com is the website. I hope you find a solutions. |

Thanks Karolyn, I am already a customer of Melaleuca. I use their household products, but some of their personal care products actually have parabens in them and I am trying to get away from those kinds of ingredients.... |

I had the problem!! Omg when my son was 14 months old I had like rush on one side of my face. It was awful!. I had to go to the dermatologist. She said I have to wear everyday sun protectio. Also changed my birth control pills. I did not know why it was my face like that. Go to a dermatologist. After visited the doctor my face back to normal .) |

hey Jamie! ever since you mentioned Parabens, I have been doing some research. . . So far, I've found that parben (propyl, benzyl, butyl) are preservatives that are not formaldehyde releasers, so they shouldn't be harmful-- of course, as long as you're not allergic to them also. It's like they are alternatives to Quaternium-15 (formaldehyde-releasing preservative). Natural alternatives include grapefruit seed extract (citrus seed extract) and vitamins A, C, and E, which I know a lot of Nicole Miller's makeup products contain. Some parabens are found naturally in plant sources such as methylparaben from the fruit of the blueberry shrub, where it acts as an antimicrobial agent. That's what I came up with, but I hope it helps! I really like researching things!

I'm sorry if you tried this already, but I find when I eat more vegetables (with dinner, for example) and drink a couple glasses of water a day, my skin clears up a lot. . . I know it's not easy to do all the time, but that's what I've found helps best for my random-act of pimples.

Many women breakout when they eat food with bleached white flour because they have a food alergy to it but aren't aware of it. You can tell if you do with a simple test. Don't eat any food with flour in it for 48 hrs. Then on the 3rd day eat a roll or biscuit, bread with bleached flour, if you immediately bloatin your stomach area then you have a food alergy to it and should eliminate those product from your diet. |

I have also read that a lot of women have an overabundance of yeast in their bodies that can cause skin problems. It's not just a vaginal infection. If you change your diet to eliminate yeast products it should help. |
