Hey, there's the big nice parks like norland park or memorial park for the everyday usual playdate.Norland has a walking path, a sandbox, and an old train to play on but the play equipment at Memorial is MUCH better for the littler kids. I'm a block away from Reservoir park which is a little neighborhood park a bit north of King and N. Franklin
Do you have anything specific in mind you'd like to do?
Stuff I have discovered over the past couple months- there's a little local zoo like fifteen minutes south of gettysburg, and a children's museum in Fredrick. Or Cowan's Gap state park has a fake-lake-beach- we could meet for a picnic and bring some sand toys.
I don't mind having anyone over to my house... I just moved in not terribly long ago and I'm still spending days and days cleaning out the previous owner's neglect so it might be a couple weeks before all the corners of my yard are 100% kid proof but I do have a brand new swingset built as well as a toddler-preschooler sized inflatable pool and a long strip of concrete they like to ride the tricycles on and sidewalk chalk. I think they have a pretty good time out in my yard and it's plenty big enough for guests.
Well whatever sounds good, I will be there, I am DYING to get out of the house and the kids really want to make some friends. I moved here in March from Memphis, TN.
