Hi everyone.  I'm a single mother of a 5 month old daughter and am new to Texas.  I moved to Tyler from CA last Dec.  I'm looking to meet other single parents, mothers for play dates, etc.

My husband and I moved from Southern California  to Tyler, Texas 4 years ago.  Where did you live in California?  Are you originally from Tyler or Texas?  We have a 7 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. 
It would be nice to get together with someone who is also from California!  I haven't met many people here in Tyler. 

We should plan a day to get together soon.  I know there is a big age gap between our kids, but it would be nice to have someone to hang out with, who was from California.
