Hi - This was my daughter's first year in kindergarten. I was wondering if anyone has gotten their kids to open up and tell them about their day at school.

After the first couple of months of school, I found a creative questioning approach that worked with my daughter. I wrote an article about it in Sacramento Parent magazine this month. I wanted to share it with other families, and I started MyPromise Kids facebook group to send parents out a Question of the Day to spark imaginative conversation with kids. Parents can also post the funny things kids say.
