I have recently gotten myself into a relationship with a die hard musician who has been traveling since he finished highschool. He is now 27. lol. We have only been together for a few months and I am already feeling the struggle of being at home while he is halfway across the country making an album and preparing for tour. I have dated a musician before. In fact, it was for two and half years. I can say that then, I did not understand the concept of being the second love of his life..lol. And he was nowhere near as serious. My current relationship is very loving and he is suprisingly very good at using the phone. You will have to excuse my sarcasm, I think it helps for some reason.
I am very glad that I have found this page. I feel like if I can discuss some of the fears and anxiety about being in a relationship with a musician, it will help me to be more understanding to the fact that my relationship will not be like my best friends' perfection who is always at home doting on her..lol. Not that I want that, Ive had that, and I usually wanna puch them in the face. Its just hard to discuss these issues with people who have never experienced them before.
