I am so stoked that this tour is coming to the area!  I can’t be the only with not only children but a husband who are Star Wars freaks… my poor little girl had to go as Princess Leia for her very first Halloween thanks to her daddy.

This concert is so awesome though that it’ll make an instant fan out of you even if you’ve never seen or heard of the legendary movie series.  It’s a unique multi-media event that features music from all six of John Williams’ epic Star Wars scores.  The production features a full sumphony orchestra and choir, accompanied by specially edited footage from the films displayed on a three-story-tall, HD LED super-screen – one of the largest ever put on tour.  The live music and film elements are synchronized, creating a full multi-media, one-of-a-kind Star Wars experience.  The inaugural North American tour last year was ranked the 9^th biggest tour of ’09 according to Pollster!

“We’ve taken the key themes from the music and cut together all the images that fit with each theme, so you can really get a sense of how the music played into the images,” said George Lucas, creator of the Star Wars saga.  “The whole soundtrack is a testament to John Williams’ creativity and his extraordinary ability to enhance the emotional aspects of the films.”
