april reading

i recently read best friend..future wife by claire baxter and thunderbolt over texas by barbara dunlop. great short stories. the best friend was so good while the other was a good read but not something i would want to read a second time.

currently i am reading three plums in one on top of the cinderella deal selction from this months books. only about 80 pages left in one for the money then on to the second story, two for the dough.

How do you find time to read?  I try reading every day...but with my two kids I can never find time.....let along stay awake once I get to reading at night.

i work five hour shifts at my job and the computer pretty much runs it self so i read while i am at work then i usually read at night for half hour before going to bed. i have an apartment so i only have so much space to clean. it will be different once we have a house but that that wont be for atleast 3 years. how old are ur kids? mine are 4 and 19 months. i do most of the daily chores while my daughter is in school and in sept she goes to full day preschool.

would ideally like to read 30 books a month but 15-25 is more reasonable for me

I have a goal this year to read a book a week and that is working out pretty well for me.

I just finished reading Tales from Watership Down and I thought that was good.  Took me a little while to finish but I have been busy lately.

Now I am reading Sisterhood of the Traveling pants.  I didn't think I would like it because I had started it a few years ago and put it down again almost instantly but I am loving it this time.  I am over half way through and if it keeps going like it is now then I am definitely going to be reading the rest of the series.

let me know how the siterhood turns out kris. i loved the movies so maybe ill read the books as well. i just finished reading wanted:outback wife by ally blake. so on to married under the mistletoe the next book in the series. only a couple of books left in the series . then hopefully to start beyond the highland mist as long as i dont get sidetracked by another book which tends to happen alot with me.

Gave up on Percy Jackson #4 not because it was bad but because I am in one of those moods where nothing is really catching my interest bookwise.  I have been listening to Breaking Dawn on my iPod and now I am just picking up where I left off and am re-reading the actual book.  I think Breaking Dawn is my favorite of the four but that could just be because I am reading it right now. :)
