Advice on teaching your toddler to use the potty?
My son is 2 and ever since his sister has come along he wants to be an infant again. I still think of him as a baby but he has totally back tracked. I am trying to teach him to go on the potty but he doesnt like either and he gets really angry at me. I've tried rewards, and praise, but nothing seems to work. Anyone have any advice how to get him to want to use the potty?

I don't have a boy, I have a DD that is working on "Potty Awareness" and we just started putting her on the potty every time we changed her diaper... Now she thinks of the potty itself as being a treat and something special. We praise her every time she goes and she gets a huge smile on her face.

Was he potty training before your DD arrived? If so, it's normal for them to back track when a new baby comes. If you aren't in a total rush to get him using the potty, just wait for him to let you know that he's ready again. It will happen in due time :) I promise!!
