Hi Everyone, My name is Meredith and I am a mother of two living in NYC. I was working when we had our son, who is 5 years old next month...so looked at a lot of childcare options. A friend at work had always used au pairs for her 13 year old twins, so recommended her Director to me. We spoke, I looked at the website and loved the idea. I come from New Zealand so I liked the cross cultural aspect to it, as well as having your children stay in their own home/family environment each day. Because it was such an amazing and rewarding experience for our family I was interested in working for the company...and here I am telling you about what I sincerely believe is dollar for dollar the best childcare option available to your family. Our au pair was from Japan. She arrived and worked very diligently on her english, and extended for a second year with our family. She is literally like a big sister to our son, and a younger sister to myself and my husband. We had complete trust in her after getting to know her. She was mature and responsible, having arrived at 26 years old. We maintain a close relationship with her still, and have seen her several times on vacations since she went home.
