My son is 14 months old and I have been trying to get him to use a sippy cup instead of the bottle. He wants no part of it. He does like to play with the cup but not to drink out of it. Any suggestions?? |

Well he is trying to learn what is it by playing with it! My daughter was the same way! Just give it to him at the table with all meals, and try not to give the bottle as much, only say at nap and night time. he won't starve himself so try not to give in! |

I agree. He will continue to play with it for a while, and then he will get it. He just needs to get used to it. Give him time, and continue to offer it frequently. He'll get the hang of it. |

Maybe try a sippy cup with a straw. I recommend this to the parents at the daycare I work with. All the parents that try it say it works great. Good luck |

I agree as well. All children are different and some will pick up on it right away and some take more time. How long have you been trying to get him to use the sippy? Hang in there, he'll get the hang of it. Good luck |
