Hi Natalie,

Nice to meet you.  I am a SAHM in Martinsburg, WV.  I've posted in this group several times back in '08, but I never heard from anyone.  Maybe it's inactive??  Anyways, since then I've found a great group of women and kids for my daughters and I to socialize with.  It's through the Moms Club of Martinsburg.  Their website is: http://www.momsclubofmartinsburg.org/  There is an annual membership due of $15, but that's it.  You can be as active in the group as much or as little as you want.  There are many playdates and activities for the kids and moms.  There is even a Moms Night Out once a month where the moms (no kids) get together for a few hours to do something fun.  It's a great way to get away and socialize with other adults.

Everyone is really supportive and kind, and many of the moms have become friends outside of the group as well.  But as far as the group, I especially like that if I ever have any questions concerning my kids, I can send out a group email to the club and I will get so many helpful responses back.  I've done this already for advice on potty training, picking a doctor, etc.

There is also another group called MOPS, but I am not very familiar with them.  I think it's more of a support group rather than a playgroup.

If you have any questions, you can email me at manningje@yahoo.com.  I hope this helps :)
