Hello Alexandra,

I think at this age your daughter is more than likely just trying to see what response she will get. Just like when they first start using utensils to eat with, drop the spoon on the floor to see how many times you will pick it up. I would just keep an eye on her so that if she does throw up, you are there to make sure she doesn't choke. Have her help you clean up any mess, and try not too give too much of a reaction. It may be one of those learning experiences. I hope this helps.

she's learning about her body... and will continue to do so in other ways. I wouldn't worry, just watch her incase she does make herself sick. I'd mention it to the doctor at her 18m appt., if it's still going on, just so they know.

As with everything in parenting, this too shall pass! Everything is a phase, be patient and I bet in a month or two you'll realize you've not seen her do it in a while.
