I have been crocheting & knitting since I was about 6 or 7 years old, but I only learned to make scarfs with knitting, and grandsquares with crocheting.  A few years ago I knitted 65 Fun Fur scarfs and have crocheted numerous blankets for family members using grannysquares.

I would like to learn how to read a pattern, make different kinds of blankets, and sweaters.

I love sitting in front of the TV at night passing the time with either one, it is very relaxing.

How long have you been crocheting and what have you made?

So What is everyone crocheting or knitting? I'm currently making a baby blanket for a friend of a friend. It is a mile a minute type blanket.

The blanket is a Mile A Minute afghan and is in white and orchid.  The Orchid is a light silver purple. 

I hate having to sell a house.  I've done it a few times and let me tell you it is not fun. But it has to get done.  Good Luck.

This is the first time selling a house.

I'll be married 24 yrs this May - my 2 sons are moving out - I'll be an empty nester!  Different phase in my life.

Are you married, how long   - what major city do you live near in Texas?  Many many yrs ago I was in Texas visiting the Alamo. 

I ask a lot of questions - I don't know if this appropriate for this site if not just let me know - just trying to be friendly and meet new people.
