3 kids under 3

Hey, I'm a mother of 3, with a 2 year old son and twin 7 month old girls.  I'd like to connect  with other mothers with multiples for support during this adventure.  I'm at home full-time and usually only get out to go to the gym (which is my 'me' time that i cherish).

Hi Shannon.

I have 3 kids too. My older son was 2 when my twins were born. He is now 5 and my twins are almost 3. I am at home fulltime too!

Hi, Shannon, Cindy and Makina,

I'm a little different. I had my twins (b/g) and then I had my third kid. My twins are 2 years old and my baby is 6 months. It's not easy.... but they are lovely.

wonderful!  there are others out there like me!  everyday i wake up wondering how things will turn out for the day.  no other job in the world is as unpredictable as being a mother of multiples.  i went back to work when my son was 3 months old, so i've been a working mother too, and it was very challenging.  i cried everyday at work b/c i felt so guilty about leaving him, but eventually it got better and i started to enjoy work again.  Then, we got pregnant with the twins and it was impossible for me to work.  i was sick for about the first four months, nonstop, then it got better, but i was HUGE, so getting around was challenging.    Thank God i'm home with all three, for now.   With this economy, it's a struggle to keep afloat, but we cut out everything extra and are making it, as of this month.  Do you all have any tips on saving money?  Any clues on what i can expect from the twins at 7 months?  Bell sits up and stands for a few minutes with some assistance, but Ally needs support to sit up usually and doesn't even try to staighten her legs and stand.  Did your twins do things at the same time or staggered?  Ally was our sick baby, so i get concerned when she's behind on some things.

Hi Shannon,

I worked until my twins were 8 months. My boss was great and I could do part of my work at home. Then I moved to another state and after that got pregnant. It's hard to stay at home all the time when you are used to be out. I understand it's a phase... and it goes fast. So I try to enjoy while I get crazy. For saving money, I go to state parks or kids' zone at the malls and come back for lunch. Sometimes I bring snacks and we have a picnic. And depending of your family income, you can be elegible to have some help with foods from the WIC program.

Sometimes my twins did things at the same time and sometimes not. They learn a lot from watching each other since so young age. My girl sit up with assistance (nursing pillow) about 3 weeks before her twin brother. And it was curious, my little boy (V) was standing up before 1 year and started walking. My little girls started to laugh when he felt down. So V began to stand up and fall down to make her laughing. The next day my little girl stood up and walked 6feets. I had the twins at the same time my cousin and her daugther walked when she was 15 months. So ask your doctor if they are in the window of development.

I hope they don't walk at the same time. It's crazy going after them to avoid falls when they go to different directions uahuahuah
