Hi mary,
I don't know if this group is still meeting, I never got an e-mail. I guess if you want to set up a play date we will have to do it ourselves. What do you think? We can set the time and place then post it. Who ever comes, comes. Let me know.

| Hi there, I too posted an email to find a mommies group and never heard back from the group leader. My name is Christin and I live in the SE area of Aurora (near Buckley and Quincy). I work part time but most days I have free. My son is 19 months old and little rambunctious man. It would be nice find playmates for him, but mostly I just want to find some other woman that I have things in common with. Most of my other friends are single and don't have kids so I find it difficult to relate to them sometimes. Please write me back as I would love to start up a group with some fun loving mommies like me. -Christin |

Hey Anna and Christine,
I also live in the SE part of Aurora (I'm between Smoky Hill and Picadilly. I would really like to start a group where we can talk about our fears and joys with our little ones. As I said before I'm currently in maternity leave but I will start working full time mid August. I usually arrive home around 5pm so it would be ideal to meet Friday evening. The thing is that I'm not sure where we can meet, any ideas? What about the day and time? Let me know. |

Hi Mary,
My son is 8mo. old. I would like to get together with you guys, but nights are bad for me. Between homework, dinner, and meetings all my nights are taken Mondays thru Fridays. Maybe we can try a Saturday morning or a Sunday afternoon? |

Saturdays are great for me. My husband works on those days and I don't have any obligations. If I may suggest a few meeting places; the Great Plains Park off of Jewell is an awesome park in the SE region of Aurora. It features a spray ground, a toddler and big kid playground, and walking trails. We love this place, and the best part is that it is free. Another great place is the Children's Museum. Granted it is a half hour drive for those of us who live in Aurora but is so great for little ones. Let me know what you ladies think.

| Uhmmmm, the places sound good; however, I'm not sure about Saturdays. My husband will get a new schedule for mid August but I don't know what it will be yet. Our first option was for him to work weekends, so if he gets this schedule Saturdays could work for me. If he doesn't get weekends, that means he will be working nights which also mean that I will have only weekends to catch up with him. For now what about if we paln to meet August 11 in the morning and I will see what happens with my husband later. Let's go to the park you are talking about Christin. Exactly where it is? Illiff and what? |

| The 25th is fine for me. The park is located at 20100 East Jewell Ave. Iliff turns into Jewell when traveling East. The park is on the south side of Jewell. Cant' wait to meet you gals! |

Hi Ladies,
I organize a Mommy & Me Playtime group that is open to working moms, stay at homes and for moms all around Colorado.
I would like to invite all of you to a Special Mommy & Me Event on Aug 22nd at 10AM we will have crafts for babies - 6years, snacks and desserts for everyone, Annie d'Claun will join us with balloon art, and there will be a special dance performance by Sara Lane...this event is free and open to all mom groups.
