I read Born of Night this month and I liked it. I didn't think I would because I don't usually like romances.  I bought the second book in the series and I will be reading that one soon.  If I like the rest in this series I might give her Dark Hunter series a try.  I know a lot of you have read these and liked them.

I've requested 3 of the suggestions except Born of Night from the library. I will post when I read them.

I've completed Dakato Born, and it was a touching story if a bit soppy at times. I enjoyed the book itself and the underlying storylines, however I think the changes were sometimes too brusque as far as emotions go.

The Color of Lightning I also read and enjoyed. The Characters were for the most part decently devoloped and showed the various mindset of the groups that often clashed in that formative period. It was sad the way Britt was finally brought down, but somewhat expected.
