Sleepless in Seattle...
I have an almost 5 month old little girl who is my world. However, she is still waking up 3-4 times a night! She is almost never able to put herself back to sleep. I have tried leaving her in her room as long as possible before I give in and go get her but she will cry for more than 30 minutes if I let her. It breaks my heart! She doesnt always want to eat when she wakes. Any ideas on how to cut down the number of times she wakes up at night? I work full time as well as being a new mommy so this is killing me!
Any thoughts would help~

It's not just how long you wait before going to her, it's what you do when you get there. You need to stimulate her as little as possible and let her know it is not playtime. She needs to learn to sooth herself back to sleep. I have an article on this.

Hope this helps.
