Do any of u ever yell at your child out of frustration and then u feel like crap later on. I did the other day and made my son CRY I felt horrible. :O( I guess it was better then hitting him right ?? |

I think we all get frustrated and yell at some point. I know I've done it and felt really bad afterward. Don't beat yourself up about it. |

I have done it too. Sometimes it seems like yelling is the only way to get the point across with my daughter. She always wants to play in the dog food and the only way to get her to stop is to yell at her. She ignores stern. |

Unfortunately i think all parents get frustrated at some point and yell. It makes you feel bad, but they also see then that even adults aren't always in control, which is a good lesson to take away if nothing else. I try to just make sure that I show them how much I love them and they will remember that hopefully ;) |

Oh yes, I have yelled!!! And I feel like the worst person on the face of this earth. My mother was a yeller and I vowed I wouldn't be like that. I agree, at least I'm not hitting her. I guess there ould be no way to go through the next 20 years without ever yelling at her. That's just plain living in denial. |

I yell at my daughter sometimes, and after I feel so bad. I think it hurts me more than her. I try and just go into the bathroom and count to 20. I take 3 big breaths and i usually feel better. Just try and think of it this way is what they are doing so bad that they need someone to yell at them. What if your boss yelled at you every time you didn't do someting just right. |

Oh yes same here my son is 2 1/2 years I yelled at him but it doesn't work I try so hard not to over do it. But I realize now how they want more attention than anything else in this world. I just laugh about it they grow so fast. |

ive yelled at my son a lot sadly but when i tell him no he laughs so i yell and then i fel like my mom when i do so i always go back to him after its been a little time and he has kinda gotten the point or i think he has then i pick him up and give him a hug and say im sorry and i try to explain what it was that he did wrong and that is why i yelled at him. sometimes it works sometimes it dosent but he still knows i love him. |
