hi, I have 3 kids of my own and 3 step kids. 4 of them live at home and 3 of them are high needs. From ADHA to MS to Downs my house feels crazy and I have no help. Need adult converstion to feel sane if that can happen. Oh yah don't forget the six dogs I never wanted but have to take care of. And how do you get stepkids to listen to you?

Well, I have NO idea...I'm still trying to figure out how to get a 2yr old to listen to me.  I only have 1 BUT my SIL has 2 step and 2 of her own.  The oldest(step) is 13 and boy oh boy does he test her limits everyday then the 2nd oldest just turned 11 and she(step) is a little better than her brother and really the other 2(3yr and 6mo) keep her busy.  Her 3yr old is HYPER! and he listens ok but he does act like he's the one in charge.

Wow! You dod have your hands full! I dont really have any advice because my kids dont listen to me either. I think kids are getting too smart! The old tricks dont work anymore. lol you know the ones our parents used on us like "I'm going to count to three!" or the one I used to hate so much growing up "Do you want a spanking?!!" My kids tell me yes. lmao Anyway good luck and maybe try finding a local moms support group or even just a play group for your kids and then you can meet other moms in your area that can hopefully relate too and have activities you can enjoy with your kids and get out and about.
