how old your kids?

i believe it depends on your kids. but my boys didn't show any sign that they were interested in potty training at all. so i didn't start my oldiest until 3 yrs. i know i have two boys and honestly i just didn't know where to start. i didn't put diaper at home and every 30 min or an hour i took him to the bathroom or let him use potty chiar. he didn't like it at first but reward them afterward. but when we went out i put pull ups for about 2 weeks.

I agree that it does depend on the child, and how interested they are in the potty chair.

I'm a grandma of 4, and a mother of 3. I introduced my children to the potty chair early (when they started walking). The potty was in the bathroom and if I went to the restroom, I asked if they had to go potty? Sometimes they would sit, usually with clothes on. Gradually they found an interest, when they told me they needed to go potty I took them, or if they started taking their diaper off. I took that as a sign to sit them on the potty.

The key point is to introduce them to the potty and try not to make it a big deal, they will let you know when they are ready.

Boy's were harder, they didn't seem interested.

Potty training isn't easy, just take it one day at a time and take cues from your child.

My girls could not stand to be wet, so they really liked to use the potty.

Good luck,
