reading.

My two year old made a letter "S" last night and recognized it!  How young can they learn to read?

as young as you start them out.  My daughter was around 2yrs old. But, my son is 4 yrs old and isn't really reading yet. But, he is also speech delayed. But, has gotten way better since starting speech therapy. you should be proud.. Way to go little one.

My son whos 2 recognizes the letter O and the letter T...BUT I've been working with him on learning words and letters and numbers and colors since he was 18mo and so far he knows his colors and somewhat numbers. Just keep working with your little one, make it fun to learn :) I've made flash cards and taped them different places in the house...for example, I have a card that says TRASH on the trash can, I have a card on the bathroom door that says BATHROOM and one on his door and one on the playroom door and so on all over the house.
