Do any of you homeschool your children?  I'm just looking for information about the Richmond, VA area homeschoolers.  I am very seriously thinking of homeschooling my children.  My daughter has Autism and I think she would greatly benefit from it more than a public or private school.  I also am getting really sick and tired of dealing with testing and appointments that are only during school hours.  When she gets a little sick, I pull her out of school just to be cautious.  She misses so much school because of allergies and other things.  I just want her to have the best education out there and it not cost me an arm and a leg to do it.  I know I'm capable to homeschooling her and her brother, but I'd like to hear from other moms.  Why do you homeschool?  What was the deciding factor for you?  What helped you make the decision?  Is it really that easy once you get started?
