Teeth
My son is 10 months old and yesterday he cut his first tooth, and today his second. I had no idea I would be this excited about teeth. But I can't stop smiling and looking at them. He is getting so big so fast, it's hard to keep up.

I just wanted to share. Thanks for listening!

Our son just cut his first tooth two days ago and I completely agree how joyous it is to see your child cut his first tooth. My husband and I were so excited. We told our family about the exciting news. Who would have thought something so simple could bring so a joy. We are very proud! :)

My daughter is 13 months and only has 2 teeth. She also cut her first tooth at about 11 months and the second at 12 months..I see other 13 month olds who have a mouth full. My doctor says it is normal though...anyone else have a slow teether? Regardless...it is a wondeful thing!

My son is almost 9 months and he just cut two teeth at the same time about two weeks ago. I loved his little toothless grins but he looks so cute with his new teeth!

The funny thing is, he wasn't fussy or doing any of the other things babies do when they are teething. Sunday night my husband and I noticed a white spot on his gums- I've been checking them every day when I brush his gums. We said to each other he is sure to have a tooth soon. The next day I was changing his diaper and he was giggling and I saw it, but it wasn't in the same spot where we saw the spot. So I checked and I felt a tooth. It was kind of sharp- that surprised me. Anyway, I was surprised because he didn't have any trouble sleeping, he wasn't fussy or anything. He's a little tough guy!

I don't mean to digress from the topic, but two new teeth just broke through today and I was wondering what is the best way to clean his gum and teeth.

I use Gerber tooth and gum cleanser for infants. It doesn't contain flouride so it's safe to swallow, and it comes with a rubber thing with very soft bristles that goes on your finger. My son loves it. I let him hold my finger and do it himself- good training for using a toothbrush!

My son is 14 months old and he only has two teeth. I keep thinking he is never going to get anymore. So I know how excited you must be.
