Date night advice?

I want to plan a date night for my spouse - does anyone have any easy ideas?  I'm a little nervous to leave my little one alone w/ a sitter, but I think its about time to get back out into the real world.

Please let me know if you have any ideas!

Thanks,

Judy

This post might be a little late but here is what me and my husband did.

We brought a babysitter into our home and then renter movies and bought champagne and strawberries and chocolate and crackers and cheese. We locked ourselves into our bedroom and left the babysitter to the kitchen, living room and the babys room. It was nice because when she cried, we knew someone else was getting her and we still were close enough for me not to freak out.

My daughter was a little over a month old at that point, now she is 7 months and I feel more comfortable with leaving her with people.
