Hi everyone! Has this group meet up yet? I have a 14 month old daughter and I am a stay at home mom. I just moved here so I don't know anyone with toddlers here:(

I just responded to another post regarding the playgroup.  I have not heard anything from anyone at this time.  There is another interested parent, so that makes three of us.  Maybe we can start our own play group.  I would like to meet up because my toddler does not have any playmates as well.  Let's keep in touch and see how it goes.

Hi Lisa! That sounds great! I don't work right so now and I'm pretty flexible. I don't know how these playgroups work, as far as meeting up goes. Do you have any ideas?

Well, I think all we need to do is schedule a time to meet.  Since there are three of us interested and none of us have heard from any other playgroup, I suggest that we suggest a meeting place.  I am temporarily off of work due to being eight and a half months pregnant.  The other interested parent's name is Brynn.  I suggest we try to meet at a mall, since it is too cold to go to the park.  That would give us the opportunity to get better acquainted.

Okay. Let me tell you I am a bit of a germ phobia. It's not like horrible or anything but my daughter can't get sick or she would have to be hospitalized . Maybe we could meet at the food court or a restuarant or something in the mall? That way we could sit and talk and get to know each other. Or if you had another place in mind at the mall...? What mall should meet at and what days work with for you and Brynn? I am in the process of moving. I'm looking at the 30th-31st of this month. That isn't 100% certain yet. The only days I wouldn't be able to meet for sure are the 19th and the 20th. In February the 9th and 12th aren't good for me. Congrats on the baby! Do you know if Brynn has a daughter or a son?

hi, sorry i haven't responded yet. i have been busy trying to find a job. I am trying to become a nanny for a family in the metro area. no luck quite yet but a few look to be promising. but that would still be good cuz i could bring all the kids to the play dates and the more the better. i also wanted to let you know of another group on here that is just getting started next week Tuesday and the first meeting is in a moms home in troy. the groups is Michigan Mommy Meetup!(macomb, oakland and surrounding counties) i will send you both a invite to the group. i am not 100% if i will be able to go to the first meeting but it depends if i get one of these jobs. oh by the way i have a 20 month old son Sheena. talk to you both soon and cant wait to set something up.
