My name is Dawn. I am 38 yrs old and the mother of 2 beautiful children, Brian, 16, who lives in Florida with his dad and Ellie, 9mo, who lives with me and her daddy here in Carnegie. I moved here from Florida in August 2008 for more job opportunities only to find out within the first week I was here that I was expecting. I am a stay at home mom looking for a playgroup that meets regularly so that me,my husband and our daughter might meet new friends to share child raising experiences with. And Ellie might be be able to get out of the house in this lovely northern weather.

I moved here from FL (Orlando) last December with my family for the same reason.  We are still struggling financially and living with the inlaws...but Pittsburgh has been great to us!  We live in the North Hills (Shaler area) but have family on your side of town.  This is a great resource for information.
