Just looking to meet some parents in my area. I am a stay at home Mom for now and would love to get togather for tea or coffee or just to get out of the house.

 There really isn't alot of activity on this board unfortunatly but i belong to a playgroup in the area you may like

http://www.meetup.com/newhavencountyplaygroup/ - this is one of the most popular groups in the area. It's been running for about 4 yrs and has a large group of great moms that are very active on the msg board and meet up often.

there are also 2 other great playgroups in the area you might like

I belong to new haven county parents playgroup and really like it, I used to belong to little explorers too but just didn't have time for both. The playgroups i left links to meet up for playgroups all over new haven county. hamden, new haven, north haven, brandford, east haven, west haven ect. there is no phone number or adress to give out. you join the group threw the site and there is a calendar of events posted and a msg board where the moms chat, give and get advice, play games ect.... everything from playdates at each others houses to museaums, storytimes, parks (wether permitted), moms nights out, holiday parties for the kids, meeting at all kinds of different kidsentric locations. Just clic on the links there is an intro and an about page for each group listed. good luck!
