The cookie swap is just a couple weeks away!! I was giving it some more thought and wanted to post some info:
Please bring a couple dozen cookies to the party. The cookies should all be the same recipe. If we end up getting a lot more rsvps, I might change it to ask for 3 dozen. So PLEASE take a minute to update your rsvp so we can decide how many cookies we should each make! Please bring all of your cookies on a large platter and bring a large container to take home the swapped cookies in. We'll stick all of the platters on a table and when we are ready to swap, we can each tell everyone what kind of cookie we brought and whether or not there is any history behind the recipe. No worries if there isn't any history or story- there really isn't for mine! Then we'll just keep circling the table with our containers, taking a few cookies from each platter as we go until they are all gone! You should leave with about the same number of cookies as you brought.
If you have time, please send me a copy of your recipe a week ahead of time- lets say by December 6th, so I can compile them and print them out into a booklet for everyone. If you are able to, please email it to me using a word document so I can cut and paste. If you forget, you can always just bring it with you to the party.
If you would like to bring an appetizer of some sort, that would also be appreciated! If you do, please add it to your rsvp.
