you can google as "children art class"  "pottery art" near you city, state area.  In my area there is an Meg Art, Amazing Pottery, Pottery studio.  Each has a schedule, prices and description of what they offer to kids.

These are some list of places thatI found on google near your area.  You can also check in the local kids magazines of your area, where they advertised all kind of places for shopping.  Also google for birthday parties vendors in your area, sometimes art/pottery places has birthday party packages.

If you are looking for something to do at home, Im sure you could go to any store for paints and crafts. I know that most areas do have some kind of craft store, that would be really helpful. They sell felt, and little fuzzy balls, and all kinds of stuff that you could buy to have them glue and cut.

If you are willing to spend a little extra money , they also have the places that provide everything for you in a little shop. Here we have one called Pots n' Paints. You can go in there and they have different prices for different things, but both of your children could paint something, and the shop 'cooks' it, so it is like a figurine that you would buy at the store. . or you could decorate a plate, or whatever you want. Its really nice.
