My name is Ingrid, and I live in Kent (on the West Hill...so it's really more like Des Moines I guess) with my husband and 17 month old little girl.  I know this is a Renton group, but I'm willing to travel a little  :)

I do work Monday through Friday, although I'm very fortunate to work at home on Thurs afternoons and all day Friday so I can be with my daughter.  My husband works a very weird schedule and he watches our daughter a lot of the time when I'm at work.  We do use a sitter a couple days a week.  I'm glad we are able to be flexible enough to spend so much time with our daughter, but because of it she doesn't get to meet a whole lot of other children around her age.  Plus - most of our friends are DINKS (double income, no kids....hahaha) so now that we have a kid it seems like we are growing apart from some of those friends.

Anyway!  I'd love to meet some new people and new playmates for my daughter.  My husband works on Saturdays, so that's a great day for me to get out and meet up with anyone who wants to.  Or, I can usually do evenings too.
