HOW TO DEAL WITH YOUR TODDLER THROWING A FIT.

HOW DO I DEAL WITH MY TODDLER THROWING FITS WHERE EVER WE ARE AND HER HITTING AND BITING?

If im at home or at someone elses home I put my son in timeout, usually a place away from the tv and other kids or ppl.  If we are out like at the store and he throws a tantrum cause he cant have something I will leave the store even if I have a cart full of groceries (usually if you ask an employee to put your cart in their cooler to save for you they will) taking him out of the situation will calm him down and/or I will just let him have his tantrum while in the grocery cart and I will ignore him and the looks from other shoppers.  Usually if you dont pay attention to the unwanted behavior they will learn it will not do any good to act that way and stop.  Hope that helps.

P.S.  its very important to stay consistent!
