Well, I joined this group last year as I became a single mom. I did create a post long ago about letting go of your ex but now I think I'm ready to date again. I started to date a couple times but they didn't work out. One guy wanted to hit it off and move it with me and my son rightaway and I totally ran away from him like after our 2nd date. Another one just didn't work out because he didn't like the idea that I have a son. So, sorry for him. The thing is that I work full time and OT and hardly find time for myself after work and taking care of my son. I found it extremely difficult to FIND TIME to date even now I think I'm ready emotionally. I have family around but they have busy schedule as well and I feel like if I start dating, I will have to ask them to watch my son constantly which will really be difficult for them and I know they wanted to help. Anyway, I just want to ask all single moms out there, how do you find time to date and any good stories/jokes to share...... |
