Dynamic Orthotic Cranioplasty Band

Has anyone had their baby wear a DOC (Dynamic Orthotic Cranioplasty) band to correct their head shape? Please share your experience. Did it correct the problem? Was it uncomfortable for baby to wear the band 23/7 for 5-12 weeks? Thanks, Elisa

a women/s son at gymboree wears it because she said he has a flat head it it will help him. he seems fine with it and is the happiest little boys i know.

My daughter's head was pretty flat for the first couple months. We did nothing for it and now it is perfect. I heard the DOC is for very very very flat heads and most insurances, I don't believe, pay for it.
