Ectopic Pregnancy

I just found out i'm pregnant with baby number two.  But this one doesn't feel right.  I've had alot of cramping, it's off and on but it's there and it kindof hurts.  I've had a few sharp pains but nothing to double me over, although it does stop me from doing what i'm doing.  I haven't had any bleeding but i've had this weird back pain for a while too.  This morning when i got up i felt ok but then i threw up, really hard.  I never got this sick with my first baby.  I pretty much have felt like crap the last week.  I'm dizzy and i don't feel like doing anything, i'm just drained.  I called my nurse and she made me an appt on monday and said that if i had any bleeding to come in.  I'm only 4-5 weeks along.  Does this sound like an ectopic pregnancy?

I'm not too sure about the ectopic pregnancy but it could possibly be a miscarriage too. I've had three miscarriages and it always felt like sharp pain and at times would feel dizzy and nauesous. This would start for a day and then the bleeding followed. I know this isn't a very hopeful note and I apologize. I hope that it's not a miscarriage for your sake. I'd just try to relax and rest until you appt. If the pain gets too bad I'd call the doctor's office again. Good luck!

Well, I have heard every pregnancy is different.  Some women have one really easy pregnancy and then are miserable for the second one, so maybe this pregnancy is just affecting you differently.  I do remember having some sharp pains with my pregnancy which I attributed to the muscles stretching out - sometimes these pains would bring me to my knees.  It felt like I pulled a muscle or something.  But, that was after my belly was getting a little bigger.  I'm not sure what the symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy are though.  I know that's not much help - try to relax and not get too worked up though.  Let us know what the Dr. says.  Good luck!

I know that feeling it happen to me when I was having a miscarriage. I'm not saying that you are but I felt that way, I have had two of them and it took me a year to get pregnant with my healthy daughter. I had lots of painful crapping with my baby girl and dizziness like you wouldn't believe I was vomiting up until two weeks before I had her it was a hard pregnancy but she is healthy and strong I guess sometimes its just rough.I hope everything turns out OK for you.
