I am homeschooling my five year old son for the first time this year and he is my only one so I am looking for some other groups with kids his age for socialization. I live in the Cadillac area.

Hey Sara,

I just wanted to I go through the same thing you do.  I am always looking for new opportunities for my eight year old daughter to make new friends. 

It seems hard to do though as many people's kids doing sports, going to church, girl scouts, etc. so with so many activities, sometimes it seems they are just not looking for new friends or activities for their kids.

I hope you find a homeschool group in your area. :-)
