Hello everyone. This group needs a good jump start. It has been so long since anything has happened. Please eveyone, tell us something about you. Talk to other members, get to  know each other. I may be the organizer, but there is only so much I can do to get people talking. We are all in this group because we are single parents so tell us something about you that we don't know yet. Something that you want to vent about or if you want to brag about your child/ren.

I'll go first..

I'm twenty four years old and in nursing school to become a nurse practitioner. I have a three year old son, Aidan, who has speech delay, sensory/ tactile problems and trouble interacting with others appropriately for his age. I am getting him evaluated with Knights of Columbus and Judevine for Autism, PDD and the whole nine yards. This has been my biggest struggle since becoming a single parent. This is harder than school, being really poor, and dealing with a dead beat dad. This is what makes me feel like i'm not doing enough, to know that my son is having so much difficulty just being a happy three year old. well.... I have told you pretty close to my whole life story, please... don't hestitate to tell me yours.
