I'm a Naperville, IL parent and have a 13 year old daughter who loves music. She is very interested in music, plays piano and electric guitar (wants drums next) and spends considerable amount of creative energy on the Apple program Garage Band.
If you are familiar with it -- its a program that allows you to choose instruments, record lyrics and create your own music.
Because of this great passion she has, I was unable to find a structured outlet for her to gain the basic information of creating her own music. So I've taken my experience as a live event producer and created the platform.
