Hi Everyone!!
Anyone got suggestions about weaning? My daughter made one in June and I thought she would be "over it"....breastfeeding...but I thought wrong. She refuses to drink whole milk. I tried Soy milk, rice milk and 2% milk....no success....anyone got suggestions? Thanks! |

I am in the process of weaning my daughter now. When she indicates that she wants me to breastfeed her, I try to distract her with something and/or offer her an alternative, such as cheese or I make a smoothie with fruit and milk. She loves those! (I let her drink it with a straw which she really enjoys) I hope this helps!! :) |

Kristan, I would say this is gonna sound mean but she will drink it when she has nothing else offered to her!! That is what we had to do, ny daughter was 14 months, she was fine. |

Did you try vanilla soy milk warm, that's the only thing my daughter would take. Try ones with 7 grams of sugar which is not too sweet but sweet enough to be like breast milk. But take it slowly. |
