| Try some good detangler to spray in her hair before you brush it. I use some that I bought at the salon where my children get their hair cut, so it is for kids and the stylist are experts on children. |

Hi Madelyn, I have the same problem, Emilie has very curly thick hair since birth. I started using a little conditioner when she gets a bath, it makes it easier to comb. I also comb it after naps so the knots don't get so bad. |

| i'm not sure for such a young baby, but as they get older and her hair gets thicker you can use a silky pillow case. i use it for my 3 year old who has very curly hair along with conditioner and detangler. they all seem to work and keep her hair from getting such huge knots. |
