Bottled Spring Water Safe for Mixing Formula?

My 6 month old son & I will be taking our first long trip (to visit my sister) in a couple of weeks.  We will be travelling by air, witr the better part of one day each way.  He has been primarily breastfed, but will take formula if offeredthe only kind of water readily available on the plane.

Something weird going on with my computer.  Basically just want to know if you know if it is safe to use bottled spring (not distilled) water to mix formula?

water is water, bottled water is just fine to mix your formula...You can use tap water too but I only did when I didn't have bottled.

I'm not sure how long you will be flying, but you can take an 8 once bottle with you. When my daughter and I fly I take her baby bottle with 6 oz of water in it and the powder formula.  Try to get your son to drink the bottle on the take-off so that his ears stay open with the altitute change.

If I had to have another bottle, you have to use the water the vendors sell. My daughter did fine with that water, also.

We are pretty common flyers, just another trick we learned is that if you keep you son chewing or sucking, pacifiers, teething rings, biscets, etc. it keeps he babies ears open so the altitude does not affect them as much during the flight. Also try to schedule your flight when it's nap time. My daughter sleeps through the whole flight, which makes it easier on me.
