Hey Laura,
We keep running into each other tonight it looks like. Haha When I took my son off the bottle (even though your little guy is off the bottle this might work) he wouldn't drink his milk that well from a sippy cup. My pedi told me to but a little juice in there, it sounds gross but he liked it.Like apple juice or grape juice I use the gerber kind or juicy juice both 100% juice, whatever you have would work probably just something to give it a little differnet taste.
And now the kid would drink milk (straight) all day if I would let him. I would not put a lot in there just enough so he can taste it. Also I tried the strawberry syrup he wasn't to crazy about it though. |

He likes apple or grape (the light colored grape not the purple stuff) But really it's whatever your sonss favorite juice is. You only want to put like 1/2 ounce or so in there. You don't want it to totally mask the milk. My son is almost 17 mos old and has been drinking from a cup since his first birthday. He did have a night bottle for about 4 weeks after his birthday but when I took it away he never even cried for it. I introduced the sippy to him at like 10 mos old. |

My daughter doesn't like straight milk either. I just started adding a little fresh fruit, like banana which she loves, and I make it into a smoothie and then let her drink it with a straw! She loves it and she gets a serving of fruit along with her milk!! I hope this helps you!! :) |

My son who is almost 2 wouldn't drink milk when he was younger. (sippy cup or regular cup). I tried chocolate syrup, strawberry, etc. he still didn't like it. I was told to try Olvaltine. Soooo, I did. It did work. Yeah!!!! He still loves water, orange juice, etc. |

I put some milk and fruit in the blender. It comes out like a smoothie. You can put just a little fruit for flavor. I put in about one serving of fruit so that she gets the serving of each, fruit and milk. She loves it!! |

also check the sippy cup to make sure the milk is flowing freely. we had that issue around here, they just couldn't get anything out of the cups! |
