I am a SAHM of 4 kids between the ages of 3 and 16.  I had my last child a little late (SURPRISE!!!) at the age of 40!  Only one child is home with me during the school year. 

I am wondering if it would be possibly have a mom's group get together at the McDonald's here in Royse City??  With the heat we've had lately, I think it would be a great and comfortable place to have a meetup!  Possibly, if everyone agrees, we can schedule regular meetups there ... or City Park?  Also ... maybe we could do a "walking" group for other SAHM's in the Royse City area to get rid of some of that left over pregnancy weight/or to just get OUT and get some exercise!

I also wanted to share some information:  I have been doing some "hunting" to find fun, affordable things to do with my kids during the summer, or to do with my 3 year old when school starts next month.  Did you know, that from August 1st to August 9th, Target is sponsoring a 1/2 price admission to the Dallas Zoo?  Also, the Dallas Arboretum is offering $1 admission throughout the month of August!!!  Dallas Museum of Art is FREE on Tuesday, August 4th!  AND ... the weekend of August 15th and 16th is FREE admission to any National Park. 

There are great things going on all year round if we only look for them and share the information.  Did you know that on Mother's Day you could get into the Zoo for FREE?  Or that July 25th was the National Day of the American Cowboy and there was a Fort Worth Stockyard Festival that was FREE?  ALSO ... tonight, at the American Airlines Center, the Ringling Brothers Circus held a FREE circus party that included the clowns and elephants??
